Upper Blackstone Clean Water is a proud sponsor and participant in the Massachusetts Acid Rain Monitoring Project, a program designed to evaluate the impact of acid rain on the surface waters of Massachusetts.

From citizen volunteers collecting river and pond water to trained laboratory technicians analyzing these samples, Upper Blackstone provides high quality data to this state-wide program.
